U.S. Army Soldier physical readiness is acquired through the challenge of a precise, progressive, and integrated physical training program. This proponent sponsored mobile application explores Army doctrine FM 7-22, which prescribes the method for the execution of the Army Physical Readiness Training System. Features include; sample training schedules with drill and exercise demos, body composition calculators, an APRT calculator, a metronome, a run timer and insights    into the doctrine.

The HRPO App is an Army developed app that supports the Human Resources Planning and Operations course held at the Adjutant General School, Fort Jackson, SC. The App gives students access to course details; including a typical course calendar, course objectives, graduation requirements and student evaluation plan information. It also includes a validated pretest that helps students assess their current doctrinal knowledge prior to arriving at the course. Based on this pretest performance, a personalized interactive course study guide, highlighting areas of strength and weakness, is provided.

Students passing this course are doctrinally sound and technically proficient in planning, executing, and managing HR support as the Senior Human Resources Sergeant within a Brigade S-1, Division G-1, or SRC 12 organization.

The finance maintenance technician is responsible for financial management duties such as budgeting, disbursing and accounting for government funds. They make sure vendors are paid, budgets are balanced and financial matters are met so the Army keeps running. This App serves as a companion to the in-house course and includes all lesson modules, interactive games, and study material.

The FM 1-06 Road Map App is an Army developed app that supports the Financial Management School at Fort Jackson, SC. The App provides soldiers with an interactive study guide that tests their knowledge of the field manual. FM 1-06 is the Army’s keystone manual for Financial Management (FM). Its purpose is to provide the authoritative doctrine on how FM supports the full spectrum of operations as a component of the theater sustainment war fighting function.

The Command Deployment Discipline Program (CDDP) combines policy and doctrinal deployment requirements under one program to enable commanders at all levels to maintain their organizations at their appropriate deployment readiness posture to meet Army mission requirements. The CDDP is outlined in Chapter 4 of Army Regulation AR 525-93 Army Deployment and Redeployment and is a tool for commanders to evaluate their unit’s or their subordinate unit’s deployment readiness annually. Under the CDDP, commanders can use their internal staff, request assistance, or incorporate as part of a Command Inspection Program to evaluate their units. The regulation includes a compilation of requirements that identifies the major tasks for the preparation and movement of equipment for a deployment. The intent of the requirements listings is to provide commanders with deployment readiness metrics which are listed in tables for various levels of command and installations.

This small app is a self-development and reference tool for Army Human Resources (HR) Professionals as well as all others that would like to enhance their knowledge of the IPPS-A system. Once fully employed, the Integrated Personnel and Pay System – Army (IPPS-A) will be the primary source which directly impacts initiated Soldier pay and personnel actions. The pay impacting capability of IPPS-A will reduce reliance on multiple disconnected and old HR and pay systems. It is important for HR professionals and Soldiers to better understand the fundamentals of MilPay now, so they are better prepared to support Soldiers in the future.
