Conditions: You are assigned to an S-1 section and are responsible for the awards and decorations program for your unit. You must ensure your unit is prepared to execute the awards and decorations program both in garrison and while deployed. You have access to the references listed on the enclosed table and the internet where you can review pertinent Military Personnel (MILPER) and All Army Activities (ALARACT) messages pertaining to awards and decorations. This task should not be trained in MOPP 4.
Standards: Process all awards and decorations for the unit with 100% accuracy and ensure all awards are submitted at a 98% on-time submission rate.
