GFEBS Funds Management

 

ECC

 

Master and transactional data is extracted from GFEBS ECC to BI from the Finance, Cost Management, and Funds Management business process areas.

PPB BOS

 

Data that is transferred from PPB BOS to BI contains current and future year funding at the Army command level. This data is used by the Army commands to form the baseline budget for subsequent analysis.

EFD

 

The annual funding plan control totals are supplied by the EFD interface.  GFEBS merges the detailed records from the PPBBOS system with the total summarized control information from the EFD system.    GFEBS then joins the EFD and PPBBOS data sets using common data elements.

Business Intelligence (BI) serves as a data management tool to generate reports, build budget plans, and distribute funds.
