Example 1:

 

Funds Management approves and distributes the funds for the yearly maintenance budget resulting in General Ledger (GL) updates in Financials. The Maintenance Funding Execution Structure in Property, Plant & Equipment is updated with the budgeted amount.

Example 2:

 

GFEBS checks funds availability in FM prior to posting Purchase Requisitions. Funds commitments and obligations in Spending Chain automatically update the GL in Financials and impact the availability of funds in FM.

Example 3:

 

A sales order (RM) references a WBS element (PP&E) in its account assignment which derives the FM budget address (FM). The sales order (RM) establishes reimbursable authority at the FM budget address (FM).
