FM reports are available in both GFEBS ECC and GFEBS BI.
BI is a reporting system that provides unique reporting and planning features. BI permits extraction of data from multiple GFEBS ECC business process areas (e.g., Funds Management, Finance, Cost Management, Project Systems) for inclusion into a single query, report, or graphic analysis. BI relies upon periodic extracts from GFEBS ECC and other source systems such as the Planning, Programming, Budgeting Business Operation System (PPB BOS) and the Enterprise Funds Distribution System (EFD).
ECC is the core GFEBS system that contains the functionality supporting the core business processes performed by the Army. GFEBS ECC reporting relies upon the common, real- time GFEBS database to provide real-time reporting. ECC reports typically provide information focused on a single GFEBS business process area at a time.
