Introduction

GFEBS Plant Maintenance Process Overview

There are four types of maintenance activities in GFEBS, indicated by the graphic. Each maintenance type is executed by a different type of order. Each order type is evaluated and entered into the Annual Work Plan.

Project Work Orders

Individual Job Orders are typically minor projects that involve a higher budget and execution, pending approval or funding.

The Project Systems module is integrated with the Plant Maintenance module. Project structures are used to plan, schedule, and execute IJO’s.

Individual Job Orders are executed by Project Work Orders (PWO).

Demand Maintenance

Demand Maintenance is typically performed in response to customer request for service.

This type of work is usually for lower cost events that consists of a single task performed at a single facility or on an individual infrastructure component.

Demand Maintenance is executed by a Demand Maintenance Order (DMO).

Preventive Maintenance

Preventive Maintenance consists of scheduled order requirements, which are created as a result of the maintenance plan.

Preventive Maintenance includes the process of performing inspections, which consists of measures for assessing the actual condition of the technical equipment in a system or facility

Preventive Maintenance is executed by a Preventive Maintenance Order (PMO).

Operations Work Order

An Operations Work Order (OWO) is a GFEBS Plant Maintenance work order type that executes the Common Level of Support (CLS) work, previously referred to as Standing Operations Orders (SOO) work type. This work is normally constant and predictable work.
