Conditions: In a classroom environment with access to FM 1-0 (Human Resources Support), AR 638-8 (Army Casualty Program), AR 600-8-4 (Line of Duty Policy, Procedures, and Investigations), AR 600-25 (Salutes, Honors, and Courtesy), AR 638-2 (Army Mortuary Affairs Program), DA Form 1156 (Casualty Feeder Card), and awareness of Operational Environment (OE)/Contemporary Operational Environment (COE) variables and actors.
Standard: Met when student:
1. Ensure all S-1 Personnel are trained on the six types of casualty reporting statuses by adhering to all required steps without error.
2. Implement the three major unit level components of Casualty Operations without error.
3. Facilitate memorial ceremony, letters of sympathy and condolence, with chaplain support, in the right sequence, without error.
