ITAR – Monitor Command Interest Programs

Conditions: You are assigned as the Brigade S-1. The brigade commander is concerned that subordinate units are not executing Command Interest Programs to standard. The commander tasks you to monitor procedures and policies for Family Readiness, Equal Opportunity (EO), Army Voting Assistance Program (AVAP), Army Substance Abuse Program (ASAP), Army Body Composition Program (ABCP), Combined Federal Campaign (CFC
), Army Emergency Relief (AER), Suicide Prevention Program, Sexual Harassment/Assault Response and Prevention Program (SHARP) and Total
Army Sponsorship Program (TASP) and provide him with a status briefing. You have access the references listed on the enclosed table and installation
support activities. This task should not be trained in MOPP 4.

Standards: Monitor the status of Command Interest Programs in 100% of subordinate units, identify deficiencies, and develop recommendations to improve Command Interest Programs policies and/or Standing Operating Procedures (SOP).
