Conditions: You are assigned as a battalion S-1 and your unit just arrived in a deployed theater. You are responsible for reporting requirements with higher human resources (HR) headquarters and subordinate commands. You have access to a Very Small Aperture Terminal (VSAT), Combat Service Support Automated Information System (CAISI), and/or unit network infrastructure and standard automation equipment. Some iterations of this task should be performed in MOPP 4.
Standards: Establish error-free connectivity to all of the following systems: CITRIX, electronic Military Personnel Office (eMILPO), Personnel Network (PERNET), Deployed Theater Accountability Software (DTAS), and Defense Casualty Information Processing System (DCIPS), utilized on the Nonsecure Internet Protocol Router Network (NIPRNET) and Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNET) and establish communications with higher HR headquarters and reporting subordinate commands.
